I've been building Cipher for about five months. It reads bank SMS and finance-app notifications on the phone and turns them into a searchable ledger, stored in an encrypted SQLCipher database. Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, GPL-3.0. Version 6.0 just shipped, and with it a paid Pro tier (extra widgets, unlimited accounts, PDF statements, per-account analytics). The core stays free. Transactions and SMS never leave the device. No ads, no analytics, no crash reporters.
