Today I logged in to Couchsurfing [0] to renew my credit card, even if I had not used this website for years, and to my horror I stumbled upon a sluggish filled with AI-generated website. I had to double-check if I was not on another website by accident. The interface is the stereotype of your typical vibe-coded website: extremely slow, in a weird dark theme and containing a lot of gradient colors. Some if not all official pictures are AI-generated. I have absolutely no idea how someone who does not already know Couchsurfing can think that this is a legitimate website.<p>I deleted my account.
