I’ve been a video editor for over 4 years now, mainly working on short-form content. I’ve edited through the shift from heavy VFX and nonstop B-roll to the cleaner, more minimal style you see in reels today. I’ve tried several AI video editors, and even as an editor, I’ve found some of them more complicated than I expected. They promise to save time, but you can still end up doing a lot of prompting and manual tweaking.
