Original Summary

This has been one of the main ideas behind MinkNote from the start. Your notes are just Markdown files on your Mac, so you can open and edit them with whatever you want. One thing was missing though: changes made by other apps weren’t picked up while a note was open. That’s fixed in the latest release, including protecting any unsaved edits.
