Original Summary
It's called The Waiting Room and the premise is: you got charged $9.99 twice for the same month, the website has no way to report it, but there is a phone number. So you call it. That's the game. Press 1 for Billing. Press 2 for Accounts. Press 0 for a representative — that one is genuinely on the menu, it just doesn't do anything. Some things that are true about it: - There is no win condition. Every branch of the phone tree returns you to the main menu. - The estimated wait time only ever goes up. A real clock runs beside it. The gap is the joke. - All the audio is generated at runtime with Web Audio — the ringback, the hold music, the comfort noise. Real hold music is licensed, so none of it is sampled. - They offer you three minigames while you wait, which makes the hold feel shorter without making it shorter. The result card tells you exactly how much shorter it felt. - One person picks up, once. His name is Marcus. He transfers you to the main menu. - Hanging up is the only ending, and it's the result. Game 4 of five small browser toys, each about something a system quietly takes from you. The only backend is one function that increments anonymous counters. No accounts, no email capture, no analytics cookie. fundrstudio.com/games/waiting-room Happy to answer anything about the build.
