Been building a laptop based looping app called Coherent and finally got a custom MIDI pedal talking to it this week. There are two modes right now, Record and Play. You record tracks first, then switch to Play mode and the pedal's footswitches become start and stop controls for each track. A fourth switch stops or starts everything at once. Demo video is a bit rough, one take, my singing and looping isn't great and I rushed the chorus lol. Just wanted to show the software and pedal working together. Pedal cost under $20 to build. Keeping Coherent free for now, would rather help loop artists than charge for it. If anyone wants to test it out drop a comment or DM me. Video and updates are over at r/Coherent .
