Original Summary
Hey! I’m building Vercue , an iOS nutrition app for people who want to understand what they eat without manually logging every meal. The idea is simple: you take a photo of your food , and Vercue uses AI to estimate the meal and its macros. Instead of making you obsess over logging everything perfectly, the app tries to give you useful context about your eating patterns. One of the main features is Weekly Mirror. Once a week, Vercue looks at your recent meals and highlights one pattern that may actually be useful to notice. I’m mainly building it for people who train, go to the gym, or simply want to eat better without turning nutrition tracking into another daily chore. I’m currently looking for beta testers and would especially appreciate feedback on: -how accurate/useful the food scans feel -whether the onboarding is clear -whether the app feels easier than traditional calorie trackers -whether the insights are actually useful bugs, confusing screens, or anything that feels unnecessary It’s still an early beta, so critical feedback is genuinely useful. submitted by /u/pavel_mnr1 [link] [comments]
