Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my experience with a little project I started a few months ago. The idea actually started back in April, when I was thinking about what I could build. There were already tons of AI chatbots out there, so I wanted to try something a bit different: an uncensored AI chatbot. I spent quite a while researching the legal side of things and looking into what was already available. Most of the uncensored AI services I found were paid, so I decided to build my own. Building one with no messages/images limit, not even paid plans. I ended up getting 2 RTX 6000s and 2 RTX 5000s, worked on removing the refusal behavior from the DeepSeek V4 Flash 0731 model, did the same for the image model, then launched the website. And now, just one month after launching, I'm honestly pretty surprised by the response: - 4,700 users - 40M tokens generated - 1,500 images generated or modified - $0 earned - 0 API customers So financially? Definitely not a success :) But honestly, idc about that right now. I'm just genuinely happy that people are actually using something I built. (I didn't make any ads for the website, it was all from google SEO) This is my first project that has gotten this kind of attention, and seeing thousands of people try it out is honestly pretty crazy to me.
