I recently played Cluedo at a friend’s house and really enjoyed it. Since buying board games can be pretty expensive, I tried making my own DIY version of Cluedo using chart paper. But honestly, I got tired just making the thing. Drawing the board, making the cards, pieces, etc. took a lot more time than I expected, and if I made a major mistake, I basically had to redo part of it. That made me think: if someone wants to create their own original board game, there’s a lot of work involved before they can even properly test whether the game is fun. And then there’s another problem: even if you make the game, you need people physically around you to playtest it. So I was thinking about a platform where people could create board games easily and then immediately host them online and invite others to play, somewhat like how Roblox lets people create games and then have others play them.
