I’m close to sharing a small macOS app called Gridelio more widely, and I’d love feedback before I put it in front of more people. It’s a window manager built around keyboard snapping, editable visual presets, auto-tiling, workspaces, and a drag HUD for split/swap/merge actions. The app is almost ready for its first small release. I’m currently polishing the distributable build and trying to catch the rough edges before I invite more people to try it. I’m not trying to replace every power-user tiling setup. I’m aiming more for the middle ground between basic snapping tools and full tiling window managers. A few things I care about with this app: local-only settings no account no cloud no analytics one-time purchase, no subscription macOS 14+ If you use macOS heavily, I’d love your perspective: what do you currently use for window management? what do most window managers get wrong? does auto-tiling plus editable visual presets sound useful? what would make you immediately uninstall a window manager?
