I started Plembfin after realizing that “watched” stopped being a reliable fact once a household used more than one media server. Plex, Emby, Jellyfin, and Trakt could each know a slightly different version of the same history, especially after a library rebuild, an outage, or a rewatch. Plembfin is my attempt to make that state local, private, and explainable. It keeps a canonical record in SQLite, reconciles watched state/resume progress/rewatches across the connected services, and shows the delivery result for each destination. The useful part is not a dashboard that says “sync complete”; it is being able to see why one item was skipped and retry only that destination.
