Original Summary
Hey everyone, we’ve been working on a side project called Pixit Fashion. Started it since we had access to a lot of AI credits we wanted to put to a good use. It is still not just a rapper. We do some sophisticated pre-processing as well as neat things like analyzing the webpage you’re coming from and trying to extract information about the fit of the piece of clothing. It lets you preview clothes you find online on a photo of yourself, before another “looked better on the model” purchase. You upload your photo, right-click a clothing product image, and see a virtual try-on in the sidebar while you browse. It gives you an idea of the look, though it won’t tell you which size to buy. Yes, we know most people shop on their phones. We started with a desktop Chrome extension because we wanted to get it out quickly and find out whether people actually want it. Our talent for adding things to the to-do list was becoming a problem. It’s free to try for our first users, with free starter credits. After those, additional credits are paid. I’m one of the people building it, and I’d love feedback from someone who isn’t socially obligated to be nice to me. Would this help you decide what to buy? If you give it a go, tell me what works, what looks weird, or what made you close it. Here’s our website, where you can also find the Chrome extension . submitted by /u/TheGreatNeedle [link] [comments]
