Original Summary
I'm Sevak, one of the developers at YVN Labs. We launched Remoto, a TV remote for iPhone and Apple Watch, on September 10th. The video is the test that made us build it: searching "shape of my heart" on YouTube, first with the remote that came with the TV (45 seconds of arrow, arrow, arrow, OK), then from the phone (18 seconds, typing on the iPhone keyboard). What it does: - works with Samsung, LG, Hisense/VIDAA and Google TV over Wi-Fi, plus Roku, Vizio and Sony in an experimental mode - types with the iPhone keyboard or by voice, opens the TV's apps in one tap, casts photos and video from your library - has an Apple Watch remote, volume on the Lock Screen, a Control Center button and Home Screen widgets, all working with the app closed - no account, no sign-up Honest limits: iPhone only for now (Android is planned), your phone and TV have to be on the same Wi-Fi, and TVs without network features can't work with any app, because iPhones have no infrared. It's free to download. We have almost no users yet, so I'd rather get blunt feedback than upvotes: the App Store page, the first run, whatever looks off.
