Original Summary
Hey r/SaaS , I just launched my new micro-SaaS, Going A2B, targeting a specific pain point for mobile workers and freelancers in the UK. Most established competitors in the mileage tracking space rely heavily on continuous background GPS tracking. From validating this with local drivers, the two biggest complaints were always massive battery drain and privacy concerns regarding 24/7 tracking. I decided to take a different approach. Going A2B operates entirely on photographic odometer readings. Users snap a photo at the start and end of a trip, and the app processes the mileage and locations into HMRC-compliant logs without touching their background GPS or battery. The Business Model: 14-day free trial. B2C Subscription pricing: £1.49/month or £14.99/year. As a new founder just getting started with marketing, I’d love to get this community's feedback on a couple of things: Does the price point feel right for a utility app like this? For those who have launched localized micro-SaaS apps (UK-only for now due to HMRC rules), what channels worked best for your initial user acquisition? Check it out at https://goinga2b.co.uk . Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! submitted by /u/Ill-Championship4172 [link] [comments]
