Hi everyone! I built a free, open source tool that lets you connect your TIDAL music account to an AI assistant and ask for help with your music collection. For example, you can ask it to find songs similar to a few favorites, check a playlist for duplicates, or prepare a new playlist from its recommendations. It connects to your TIDAL account so the assistant can work with your actual collection. The project uses MCP, a standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools. It works with clients such as Claude Desktop, Codex and Cursor. You install it locally on macOS or Linux and connect your own TIDAL account, so there is some initial setup. One design choice I cared about was keeping control of account changes. They are disabled by default. Once enabled, changes require a preview
