You sign in with GitHub, run one npm command, and you get a page that shows how many lines you write each day, how many commits, and how much you've actually shipped over time. It does not need repo access, does not read any code, just counts contributions and saves only the numbers. I made the npm command open-source for people worried about privacy. What you get: - lines added and deleted, and commits, per day / week / month / year - a global leaderboard of whoever shipped the most - private teams: make one, send your friends the invite code, see who ships the most - streaks, stars, top language and other detailed analytics about your activity which you can make private or share with others It's free and takes about a minute. https://gitstats.org There's also a demo board you can poke at without signing in: https://gitstats.org/demo with generated data. I built it for myself initially because I wanted to see how much I work and I really like it, but I think it will be even more interesting if many developers would use it.
