I’ve been building a weather app called Skyward. The idea was simple: I wanted a weather app that doesn’t just tell me what happens tomorrow, but also lets me look much further ahead and understand how reliable that forecast actually is. Skyward includes: • Hourly and daily forecasts • Long-range forecasts up to 6 months ahead • Forecast reliability that changes the further ahead you look • Around 50 weather models used for longer-range forecasts • Air pressure and weather graphs • Sunrise and sunset • Weather records • Weather comparisons • Detailed widgets • A feature that looks back at previous forecasts to see how well they performed • English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese I’m still actively working on it. Tides, more languages and several improvements based on early user feedback are already planned. I deliberately didn’t want another subscription weather app. Skyward is currently €0.99 for a few days and will later be €1.99 as a one-time purchase. No ads. No subscription.
