I shipped my first iPhone app and genuinely can’t tell if it is good or if I’m just bad at marketing

Original Summary
I built TARE, a macro tracker for lifters, because I kept getting annoyed by calorie apps that make you complete a long introduction and many slides before you can log breakfast. I wanted a shorter experience: set calories/macros, then log by photo, barcode, voice, food search, repeat meal, or exact manual entry. Estimates stay editable before saving. Building it was honestly the fun part. I enjoyed the UI, small interactions, edge cases, and gradually turning it into a real App Store app. Now I am at the part I did not prepare for: making people aware it exists. Current honest numbers: - about $186 total revenue - roughly $12 MRR That is enough to show that someone will pay, but nowhere near enough data to tell me whether I have a good product with weak distribution or a mediocre product I am too close to judge. If you have an iPhone, I would love blunt feedback: 1. Does the App Store page explain why TARE is different? 2. Does “macro tracker for lifters” feel specific or limiting? 3. What would stop you from trying or paying for it? Founder disclosure: it is mine.
