I kept seeing favorite-fruit polls with six choices, so I made the unnecessarily complete version: 40 fruits, one ballot per browser, live ranking. https://fruitranking.com No accounts, no ads. If your fruit isn’t there, suggestions unlock after five people back the same one. The fun part is supposed to be sending someone a direct Team Mango/Team Kiwi challenge and watching the ranking move. Built with React + Cloudflare Workers, D1 and Turnstile. I wanted anonymous voting without collecting profiles or raw network identifiers, so it uses a signed HttpOnly cookie and hashes the voter ID in D1. It’s not perfect — clearing cookies or using another device can mean another vote — but I preferred that over accounts and tracking for something this silly.
