The idea: most people fix a PDF a few times a year, but every tool wants a subscription (Smallpdf is €108/year). So I built pdflee.com — merge, split, reorder, extract are free and run entirely in your browser (open devtools → network tab, nothing gets uploaded). The heavy stuff costs prepaid credits from €5, they never expire. No subscription anywhere. The main paid feature is a PDF translator that keeps the layout — it rebuilds the translated text into the original formatting instead of dumping you a plain-text mess like Google Translate does with PDFs. You see the credit price before running it (a few cents up to ~€1.50 for a long document).
