I've been trying to come up with a SaaS idea for months and I'm honestly getting nowhere. I know the usual advice is "find a problem first, then build the solution", but I'm struggling with the first part. I look at Reddit, businesses, existing software, different industries, etc. and either the problem isn't painful enough, there are already tons of solutions, or I can't see why someone would actually pay for it. At this point I feel like I'm just endlessly searching for ideas instead of doing anything. For people who have actually built SaaS products: how did you find the problem you eventually built around? Did you notice it yourself? Talk to businesses? Work in a particular industry? Browse specific communities? I'm not really looking for random SaaS ideas.
