Recently, I saw the launch of the new tool/system called JEV, which was built by the people who were initially building the tool called ChatGPT. The issue is that the thing they made, called JEV, was the same thing that my friend and I planned one year ago, and we were doing all our research on ChatGPT. It never materialized because we didn't have funds. Now that it's launched and we see that it's exactly what we wanted to build, and we use ChatGPT for our whole research, it's possible that they have tracked that chat. Maybe they have some meta ecosystem to identify chat where they are discussing ideas, as a user you are discussing ideas and new things, and then they track it and steal from it.
