pent the first few months building Laud assuming the hard part would be the testimonial collection flow itself. it wasn't. the hard part was consent and approval, making sure a client's exact words don't get published without them signing off, and giving the agency a private channel when a score comes back low instead of it becoming a public 2-star review. nobody puts "consent management" on their landing page as the main pitch, but it's the thing that actually determines whether an agency owner trusts the tool with their client relationships. the flashy part (pretty testimonial widgets) is the easy 20%. anyone else built something where the "boring" backend piece ended up mattering more to users than the feature you thought was the selling point? https:
