Original Summary

This is Sudo, a little desktop companion I’ve been building in my room for almost a year. It talks, moves its head and switches expressions. In the opening, we’re playing chess, and after winning it decides the occasion needs a soundtrack. That’s an actual chess plugin connected to its expressions, movement and Spotify. You can write your own plugins, connect MCP servers, change its personality or bring your own LLM. The focus timer in the video is another example of a plugin. Finally put together a launch video and opened preorders for a first batch of 25 units. Feels strange having something people can actually buy after working on it for so long. I’m getting the official docs and repo ready alongside the launch work, planning to release them later this month. Happy to answer questions about the build.
