Original Summary
My friend and I are building Momo: ADHD Body Doubling, a focus app, and we just got our first paying subscriber. We have about 30 users. One of them paid . This is the first app we've made that's earned us anything, so yeah, we're pretty excited. We're also taking part in Shipaton, RevenueCat's mobile app hackathon. The part we're learning from scratch now is marketing. We're trying TikToks, posting on X, and figuring out how to explain what we're building without making every post sound like an ad. It all feels very new. One subscription obviously doesn't tell us whether this will work long term. But it does make continuing feel a little less like guessing. For those who've been here: did your first payment change how you felt about your project, or did that only happen when people started renewing? submitted by /u/AlexBossov [link] [comments]
