Like a lot of people running small sites, I kept installing Google Analytics and then never opening it again — too many reports, too much jargon, and I never actually knew who was on my site right now . So I built TheWebstats: a one-line script that gives you plain-language stats (new vs. returning visitors, live presence, traffic sources, device breakdown) plus a live chat widget with WhatsApp handoff for when you're offline. No build step, no plugins — just paste a script tag before </body> and you're tracking in under 2 minutes.
