Original Summary
I built a small open-source project to reduce the time spent browsing job posts across Telegram channels. The tool currently: imports a list of Telegram channels downloads messages from the previous 30 days evaluates whether each channel is relevant to a candidate profile filters irrelevant messages by keywords performs basic duplicate detection classifies likely vacancies with a local LLM uses OpenAI for the final candidate-to-job assessment displays the results in a simple web interface lets users open the original Telegram post and update its status Telegram is currently the only supported source. The architecture is intended to support additional sources later, such as job boards, RSS feeds, company career pages, and permitted professional-network integrations. The project is still in active development, so the UI and processing pipeline are fairly simple. GitHub: https://github.com/pnvasko/social-job-scanner I would appreciate feedback on the architecture, deduplication approach, candidate-profile format, and local-model classification pipeline. submitted by /u/Mysterious-Desk-3492 [link] [comments]
