I've stopped sending product updates to our customers through email. They either land in Spam, get buried in the Promotions tab, or get ignored completely. And honestly, it feels weird to send someone an email about a feature when they're already sitting inside your product. So I started putting important updates directly inside the product instead. Feature announcements. New releases. Small tips. Promos. The difference in attention has been pretty noticeable.
