I own 7 Wonders plus four expansions, and every time I play, I run into the same couple of annoyances. The first is rules lookup. An unfamiliar icon shows up, and suddenly I’m searching through five different rulebooks trying to remember which expansion it came from. The second is scoring. It’s not difficult, but by the end of the game, when everyone is throwing numbers at you, it turns into a small admin task. I used to use the official app, but it’s been crashing on me lately, and it doesn’t quite match the editions I own. So I built a small assistant to handle both.And that’s how this little assistant happened. For rules: Ask questions by voice and get answers based on the rulebooks See the exact rulebook pages and sources behind each answer For scoring: Read out the scores and have the sheet filled in automatically Correct anything by voice or edit it manually Still just a demo for now. 7 Wonders is a game I keep coming back to, so it seemed like a good place to start. If it ends up being useful, I might build similar assistants for some of the other board games I play. How do you handle rules lookup and scoring?
