Hi everyone — I’m the founder of inklet . We’re getting closer to the official launch of inklet Portal, and I wanted to share what we’re building. Here’s an everyday situation we’re designing around: you finish work with tomorrow’s priorities scattered across a meeting note, a message, and a few reminders. You know what matters, but the next morning you still have to go looking for it. We want to make it easier to have that short plan waiting beside your desk instead. Portal is the software side of inklet. You send it content and describe what you want to see. It prepares a layout for an e-ink display, so you don’t have to design a page every time you want to put something useful on screen. A plan for tomorrow is one example. A recipe beside the stove or a reminder near the door are others. Our hardware is still in development, but these are the everyday moments we’re building toward. We’ve also opened a Discord where you can talk directly with our team, follow development, and share what you’d want to use inklet for.
