For the past few weeks, I’ve been refining the subtitle/caption engine in KutCut (a lightweight desktop video editor built with Electron, React, and Remotion). A common frustration with auto-captions is that either all templates look identical with minor color shifts, or navigating between timeline clips and the template browser takes too many clicks.
