I recently launched FromYT.net , a simple tool for downloading YouTube Shorts. The idea is pretty straightforward: paste a YouTube Shorts link, process it, and download the video without installing an app or creating an account. I know this is a very competitive niche, so I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel. My main focus is making the service: fast and simple to use reliable mobile-friendly free from unnecessary steps and popups I’ve been building several small web tools lately, and one thing I’ve noticed is that even in crowded niches, many sites either stop working properly, have too many ads, or make a very simple task unnecessarily complicated. So my approach with FromYT is mostly: do one thing and make sure it works well. I’d be interested to hear what other SaaS founders think: Would you try to differentiate a product like this with additional features, or is simplicity and reliability enough for this kind of tool?
