Original Summary

So I built an app (it's NOT vibecoded, I've been working on it for years and it's SEC registered). I hit 11,000 users and $33B assets modeled and signed deals with large firms for monetization. I felt like I was a real thing. I've done a lot of marketing things so far, I'm not at zero. But I waited until I felt "real" enough to get reviews and get that stamp of "yes this is real and good" on the interwebs. So I reach out to YouTubers and press, and they either ghost or reply with "I get a new vibecoded app every day, sorry I only review the incumbents...or you can pay me for consulting". Like WTF is this? I guess I was naive thinking they did, you know, reviews or journalism. How do you actually get to the point where influencers in your space will review your app? Is it really this pay for consulting schtick? Is there somewhere you just straight up pay (I don't want to sit through consulting bullshit)? Does anyone do real reviews of new / growing products? So I guess the real questions are: I waited until I grew enough to be real - How do I get past the AI slop noise Are influencers really just pay to play?
