Original Summary

Hi everyone. I made MignonSketch, a painting app that runs a physical simulation of paint. Watercolor spreads through wet paper and granulates as it dries. Oil paint stays thick on the canvas and mixes when you drag another stroke through it. Materials: - Watercolor (11 brushes: wash, bleed, lift, granulating, pouring...) - Oil (11 brushes: round, flat, filbert, fan, impasto, blender...) - Pastel, crayon, colored pencil, pencil (F / HB / 2B / 4B) - Gold and silver leaf - lay the leaf down, or brush the size on first - Airbrush (6 nozzles) - A plain digital pen, for when you just want a clean line Other things: - Layers, 27 blend modes, clipping, opacity - Move the light over your painting to catch the impasto and the leaf - Tilt the device and let wet paint run down the page - Timelapse export - Line art filter, so you can trace over a photo - Runs on phones - the engine is Rust on Metal (iOS) and Vulkan (Android) iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6806519927 Android: in review Happy to answer anything about the simulation side. Thank you for reading! submitted by /u/No-Citron-3963 [link] [comments]
