I have close to 350 books and everytime I'm in a bookshop, rather than enjoying the vibe, I hapazardly go through the notes I have to check whether I have this particular book or not. Secondly, Goodreads, which for most readers is goto digital bookshelf,, is cluttered wtih social feeds, recommendations and overhaul slow UI while others either treat digital bookshelf a glorified data entry work or performative reading where you check how many pages you've read, what genres you read, when do you read most etc etc. I started stressing about streaks and telemetry rather than enjoy the damn book. So I built ShelfKeeper for myself first. It has two modes of use Help me scan books i own or borrowed super fast. No rating, stars, comments super fast Store Mode: In a shop, I point the ISBN code to the scanner and it tells me whether I have this book or not ( or is i own a similar edition) My wife spoke about the app with her book club buddies, I shared it with them and over the months added and removed features. Now publicly available on Google Playstore on Android ( iOS version still in development) Below are the features of the App currenly Library mode to scan your library super fast Sore mode to check whether you already own a book or not. Add books to wishlist, helpful when you have lot of books in wishlist and when you scan same book in store mode, it pops up that this is in wishlist. Unlimited local books addition and cloud storage upto 100 books. Your books already on cloud are absolutely safe whether you go Pro or not. Digital shelfie - share your curated bookshelf with others or on Social media. Pro version features as below Cover scan: Instead of scanning ISBN code, take a pic of the book(s) and instantly add it to wishlist or Home library Family library - Add members to your home library and all memebrs can see books added by each other with option to share wishlist.
