I develop Dosii, a small iPhone calculator. The offer is simple: enter the vial amount, intended amount and water volume, then see the mathematical result on a syringe scale. Calculator values stay on the phone; there is no account, app analytics or subscription. It costs US $9.99 once. The question I'm working on is whether that focused workflow is enough to justify paying when free calculators exist. The value isn't a new formula. It's explicit units, the visual result, local data and a quick calculation without account setup.
