Original Summary

I started building Family Stitch because my wife was doing most of the work keeping track of our family’s schedule, and I wanted something where people could just text events instead of having to constantly maintain another calendar app over several households. You can text things like “soccer Thursday at 5” and it adds the event and handles reminders. There’s a web dashboard too, but text is the main idea. Hopefully replacing lost events and what not in group chats. The coolest part has been seeing people use it to coordinate care for elderly parents. I didn’t build it specifically for that, but it’s become one of the main use cases so far across a few users I have.
