Original Summary
I run a small SEO agency. Every month a client asked the same question: what are our competitors actually doing? Answering it took me half a day of tabs. Ahrefs for rankings, the Meta Ad Library, the Google Ads Transparency Center, their blog, their pricing page, Reddit. By the time I had an answer it was already old. So I built Figo to do that half day automatically, every week. You give it your website. It finds your competitors from search data, then checks nine things for each one: rankings and traffic, new pages, blog posts, Google Ads, Meta ads, TikTok ads, Instagram, Facebook and Reddit mentions, plus Google reviews and pricing. The part I have not seen elsewhere: it asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity the questions your buyers ask, and records who gets named. So you can watch your share of AI answers move week to week. Monday morning you get a briefing written in plain sentences. A real one from this week: "Uprise Digital pulled the $0 price off three pages and added a free 30 minute strategy call. They now show no price there. Put your own price and contract terms on your Google Ads page." Built with Next.js, Neon, Trigger.dev , and the DataForSEO and ScrapeCreators APIs. The page diffing was the fiddly part: cookie banners, review counters and rotating testimonials all look like changes until you teach it they are not. Two things I would like feedback on: Is a briefing like that specific enough to act on, or still too vague? Does tracking who the AI assistants name feel useful to you, or like a gimmick? https://tryfigo.com submitted by /u/method120 [link] [comments]
