Hey everyone, I’ve been surrounded by the restaurant industry my entire life through family and friends. After stepping away to work as a software developer, I kept seeing through my family's ongoing restaurant business how hard it is to predict daily deposits because of hidden fees. I decided to merge my programming background with my restaurant roots to build an alternative, it is currently in pre-registration, and I’m looking for industry veterans and devs to tear it apart, give feedback, and beta test it (For those curious, I used Flutter to build it). Here is what I built and why: Bring Your Own Device (BYOD): No forced, expensive hardware packages. It is highly optimized to run smoothly even on inexpensive, low-spec tablets. Cloud-Relayed Readers (No Local Wi-Fi Pairing Issues): It connects seamlessly to trusted terminals like Stripe and Adyen. Because the backend relays requests directly through the provider's cloud, your POS device and card reader don't even need to be on the same local Wi-Fi network. Flexible Operations: Includes standard POS mode, Kiosk mode, and Kitchen mode. You can skip receipt printers entirely for a fully digital flow, though cash drawers and printers are fully supported. Transparent Pricing: No contracts, no lock-ins. For in-person transactions, 100% goes to you (minus standard processing fees, from Stripe, Adyen...). For online orders, we charge a flat $1 fee (which by default it's passed to the customer, can be changed on orders above $5) minus the standard Stripe processing fee (Online orders are processed). That’s it. Beta Testing & Pre-Registration: I’m launching the beta in 1-2 months once I squash a few more bugs. Beta testers get the system completely free during testing, and early registers lock in a lifetime 10-15% discount on the subscription once we launch.
