Original Summary
I freelance dev work on the side and kept forgetting to follow up on late invoices, or dreaded writing the same "just checking in" email for the third time. Existing payment-recovery/dunning tools (Rebounce, ChurnWard, Baremetrics Recover, Churn Buster) are built for SaaS companies recovering failed subscription charges, and price from $39 to $249 a month. None of them fit a solo freelancer with 2-3 late invoices a month. So I'm building Duesly: add an invoice (client, amount, due date), it runs a 3-step reminder sequence (day 3 friendly, day 7 firm, day 14 final) written in your own voice, and stops automatically the moment you mark it paid. Target price is $15 a month. Right now it's just a landing page and a waitlist, no code written yet - trying to validate the demand first instead of building blind. Happy to share the page if anyone wants to take a look. Would love feedback from anyone who freelances: is this a real pain for you too, or is it just me? submitted by /u/keggs1 [link] [comments]
