For the last 15 months I’ve woke up 4:30 AM to build my dream in-between working a 9-5 & family w 2 kids Finally 3 wks ago my training app went finally live, & now has users in 10 countries 🏋🏼 I’ve spent 17 years in retail, leading big businesses & large teams, but always had a big interest in training & tech. Here's the stack & the tools that made it possible for me to transition completely. The reason behind the app is "simple". I've done the 100kg to 70kg journey twice. The last time, when work took over & I was sitting at 99kg, I said enough. But honestly, I pulled it off because of everything I'd learned over the years, not because there was a tool or an app that actually helped me. With a hectic career, 2 kids & stuff constantly happening, I knew training had to be simple & available wherever I am. I'm probably not alone in that reality. It eventually became BDYCTRL So how did I manage it? I tried various vibe coding tools & "app builders", but they always fell short on control, on efficiency, & on how they build the infrastructure & the logic. So my workflow ended up being me, VSCode & a Claude Max subscription. Three months ago I left my full-time job to finish the app & launch it. It's been out for a few weeks now & it's live in 174 countries, with users in 10 countries already. I've barely had any time to market it as I'm just head down refining features & moving on with the roadmap 🙇🏼‍♂️ So with that in my I'm super happy with the outcome so far. When that RevenueCat notification about a new trial comes in, I still have to pinch myself. This is an idea I've had in my head for years, which is now real thanks to everything you can learn with the help of AI & AI tools.
