I spent months applying to jobs by hand — same details into every Greenhouse and Workday form, over and over. So I built Shortlist. What it does: you upload your resume, it finds roles that match from ~15,000 live postings (pulled straight from company career pages every 6 hours), tailors your resume to each one, fills in the employer's real application form — Greenhouse, Ashby, Workable, Rippling, Workday — and then waits for you to approve it . Nothing sends without your OK. What it deliberately doesn't do: LinkedIn or Indeed "Easy Apply". Those get you buried with 900 other one-clickers. I wanted applications to land where the employer actually reads them. Honest numbers: built solo, 35 signups so far, 1 paying user. Free tier is 10 applications, no card.
