I started out trying to learn to invest by reading and spending hours trying to figure out how to minimise the risk and invest correctly so I could grow my portfolio. It was hard and time consuming. Then I started talking to people and it turns out so many others were like me, with the same questions and the same gaps in our knowledge. We just didn't know what the right thing to do was. So I decided to build an app from everything I have learnt so far, with the sole purpose of making the process easier and easier to understand. It scores how sustainable a dividend is, flags when a cut looks likely, and shows you the reasoning behind it so you can learn why rather than just trusting a number. It covers CEFs, ADRs, REITs, MLPs and preferred shares, which most tools don't do properly. The goal has been to make investing make sense for everyone, young or old, and to give people the confidence to actually do it. But I don't know if what I have built is the right thing, or if this is something people would genuinely find useful. So I'm asking if anyone would be willing to give me some honest feedback to help me understand whether I am just wasting my time here or whether this can actually help people.
