So I was pasting a doc into Slack the other day and got the classic wall of asterisks and stray markdown symbols everywhere. Happens with WhatsApp too, and Notion, and Gmail. Every app has its own idea of what "bold" should look like when you paste into it, and none of them agree. Got annoyed enough to just build a fix. It's a tiny web tool, you paste your text in, pick where it's going, and it rewrites the formatting to match what that app actually expects. Rich text if you're going into Gmail/Docs, the right markdown flavor if you're going into Slack/Discord/WhatsApp. Runs entirely in your browser, nothing gets sent anywhere, no login required. Mostly built it for myself but figured others deal with this too. https://copynpaste.xyz/ Still rough around the edges,
