Original Summary
I know I should be marketing more consistently, but the work keeps sliding behind client work, product work, and everything else that feels urgent. For me, that marketing channel is LinkedIn. The advice I get usually sounds simple: - post regularly - follow up with warm leads - share useful things publicly - stay visible None of that is difficult to understand. The difficult part is doing it without turning into a full-time content person or sending messages that feel generic and awkward. AI helps with the blank page, but it doesn't automatically solve the uncomfortable parts. It can produce ten posts that sound fine but say nothing specific. It can make a follow-up grammatically polished while missing the context of the actual conversation. It can also make consistency look like volume, when the real goal is to stay relevant to the people you actually want to work with. I use my own workflow for most of what I publish, and it has made me rethink what a useful marketing tool should actually help with. Maybe the main job isn't generating more words. Maybe it's helping me turn the work I already do, the conversations I've already had, and the problems my network cares about into something I can responsibly share or use in a follow-up. I’m curious whether this feels familiar to anyone else. If you run a SaaS company, freelance, or work at an agency, what part of staying visible and following up still feels hardest after you already know who you want to reach? submitted by /u/Parking-Kangaroo-63 [link] [comments]
