Some background about myself, I spent years in music/entertainment marketing before deciding to build something of my own. I’ve always loved personal history, building real connections and storytelling (marketing background) and I wanted to make something that actually brought people together and gave people and avenue to talk about themselves and get to know others - I don’t have an engineering background, so I leaned on AI to help me to actually build it - and boom OurStory was born! OurStory is a community building collaborative journaling tool, that allows people to share memories in a safe and anonymous (if preferred) way. Everyday OurStory asks the user a question in the form of a prompt, the user then answers in an open forum that allows them to also interact and with other users answers. Private reflection meets social connection.
