Original Summary
I had one of those weeks where I felt "productive" because I was shipping things every day. Then I realized nobody was asking for any of those features. So I stopped building for a week and started DMing people who had commented on Reddit posts in the same space. No pitch. Just questions about what they were building and where they were stuck. I ended up having 23 conversations. The weird part wasn't getting feedback. It was realizing almost everyone described the same problem using different words. That changed how we explained our product more than any feature we built that month. Now I'm wondering if I've been spending too much time building and not enough time listening. Has talking to users ever completely changed the direction of something you were building? submitted by /u/anshhh_0 [link] [comments]
