I’m curious how other builders are handling this. AI tools have made the “get something working” part ridiculously fast. But I keep seeing a weird point where the app works... and you’re still not completely comfortable shipping it. Not because the product is broken. Because you start wondering about everything you didn't think about while building: Can users access data they shouldn't? Are the auth/permissions actually right? What happens when Stripe or another API fails halfway through something? Are secrets exposed somewhere? Are database migrations safe? Is there any useful logging when something breaks? Are the important flows actually tested? Could another developer make sense of the codebase? Rebuilding the whole thing seems like overkill if the product already works. So I’ve been testing a different approach: keep the existing app, review it specifically for production risks, then harden the parts that actually matter. I’m looking for a few real AI-built side projects to test the process against. If you have something working but aren't completely comfortable putting real users through it yet, DM me your stack + what you built or better yet the github repo. I'll take a quick look and send back the 3 things I'd investigate first before shipping it further. No obligation to hire me.
