Original Summary
Maker here. I got tired of bouncing between Lucide, Tabler, Heroicons, brand packs, and Iconify — then still ending up with either a fat node_modules icon package or a folder of copy-pasted SVGs. Aria Icons is what I wanted instead: A web browser for ~340k SVGs across many collections A CLI that writes icons into your project as source (not a mega dependency) MCP for Cursor / Claude so agents use the same engine It’s closer to Iconify + a package manager than to “yet another icon set.” Try it: bash npx -y aria-icons@latest setup npx aria-icons search house npx aria-icons add lucide:house tabler:arrow-up npx aria-icons migrate --to lucide # if you’re in mixed-library hell npx aria-icons doctor Demo: https://icons.leularia.com Repo: https://github.com/LeulAria/Aria-Icons (MIT) Remote MCP: https://icons.leularia.com/api/mcp Looking for brutal feedback on CLI UX ( migrate , doctor , suggest ) and the MCP tools list. What would actually make you stop copy-pasting SVGs? If you try it and it helps, starring the repo helps others find it — no pressure either way. submitted by /u/Delicious_Corgi_1417 [link] [comments]
