Original Summary
I got tired of Costco and Amazon landing in my budget app as one ugly total, then spending half an hour splitting groceries / household / pets. So I built a small helper: photo or PDF in, line items out, mapped into my real categories as a split. Nothing writes until I approve it. Got it through the official partner approval for that budget app, which took longer than the first prototype. Honest early numbers: roughly 62 signups, 5 paying, about $27 MRR. Most free trials still haven't done one scan. Signups were easier than the first useful action. What I'm wrestling with: how do you get someone from "cool, I signed up" to "I actually used it once" without sounding like a nag? Happy to answer build questions. If anyone wants the name or a link, ask. Not dropping it unprompted. submitted by /u/daviddavila00 [link] [comments]
